Some people think women should be allowed to join the army, the navy and the air force just like men.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
People have different opinions about whether female figures could participate in tough environments such as the army, the navy and the air force. In my opinion, female soldiers can be as outstanding as their male counterparts.
One example of a strong historical female is Lori Robinson. She entered the air force program in 1982 through the ROTC program at the University of New Hampshire, and finally recently just retired in 2018. She was working as an air force general who served as a commander in the United States. Some of her other roles included being an instructor and commander of the Command and Control operations division at the Air force fighter weapons school. Another role she completed was being the chief of tactics in the 965th Airborne warning and control squadron.
Lori Robinson is one of the many examples that demonstrate how many incredible female figures there are that have been in this industry. Overall, it is very clear women should be allowed to join this industry because their reasons for joining are very similar to men. Both would likely want to join to be able to have the chance to serve their country and earn a good amount of money to provide for their family, or it could be considered an important family tradition that wants to be followed. Women should be given the same chance as men because they are just as capable of doing well as men.
Overall, many people, including me, would agree that women should be allowed to join, as they possess the skills to do so.
