When you’re balancing multiple projects, how do you keep yourself organised?

當你面對幾個項目時,你會如何管理?

To manage several projects, I like to use a concept that is often used in music. To ensure that musicians do not rush (or slow down), they subdivide each beat into smaller beats. For example, if the music has quarter notes, they mentally subdivide into smaller values (such as eighth or 16th notes). Just like in music, I would subdivide my time and focus on one assignment at a time. There are times where I still need to work on several projects within the same day. Although I would need to do several projects in the day, I would divide each project into manageable chunks and divide my time accordingly.

I try and balance multiple projects by initially figuring out which project(s) have the most priority and urgency in addition to the ones that are the most time-consuming. this way, I am able to organize myself and divide my time amongst the projects. There are times where I still need to work on several projects within the same day. Although I would need to do several projects in the day, I would divide each project into manageable chunks and divide my time accordingly.

Although independent and individual work is incredibly valuable, there are times where the amount of work is too much for one person. Therefore, being able to ask for help if and when needed is a fantastic skill. Assuming that it is possible to ask your colleagues, asking for help to delegate tasks can be an incredibly efficient and effective way to get the work done timely.
